About
Hi there — glad you stopped by!
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how we connect and communicate — from radio waves bouncing across the globe to airplanes weaving through invisible paths in the sky. That curiosity has shaped just about everything I do.
These days, I’m lucky enough to work in the world of air traffic control (ATC) and air traffic management (ATM), where technology, communication, and aviation all come together in some of the most complex systems out there. It’s a space where there’s always something new to learn — and that’s what keeps me hooked.
I’m also an amateur radio operator with the callsign ON4FF, active in the ham radio community since 1993. I especially enjoy the teamwork and challenge of radio sport contests, particularly in multi-operator events like the CQ World Wide and CQ WPX contests.
From 1986 to 2001, I also hosted the FunkReaction radio show, which aired on Hit FM - Radio Midden Limburg. The show featured the hottest funk, disco, R&B, and soul — nearly 30 hours of hand-picked classics that still bring back great memories. You can find a hand picked selection on my Spotify Funk Reaction playlist
This site is my corner of the internet — a place to share projects, experiments, and the occasional deep dive into something I’ve been tinkering with or trying to figure out.
